A minimum of 8-10 days or more is required for certification of seed consignments. Whereas perishable commodities such as nursery plants, tissue cultures, fresh fruits, cut flowers etc., are certified with in a maximum period of 24-48 hrs and consignments that require fumigation are certified within 3 days.
